I recommended Cheaper by the dozen and The Sandlot. My girls really enjoy these movies and so do i. The Sandlot is about a fifth-grader Scotty Smalls has just moved into town with his folks. Kids call him a dork- he can't even throw a baseball. But that changes when the leader of the neighbourhood gang recruits him to play on the nearby Sandlot field.It's the beginning of a magical summer of baseball, wild adventures, first kisses, and fearsome confrontations with the dreaded beast and its owner who lives behind the left field fence.Soon nine boys become best friends, Scotty is apart of a team and their leader has become a local legend in this hilarious and warmhearted comedy. Enjoy.

Universal Studio's Production of Peter Pan -- This live-action production of J.M. Barrie's classic tale is absolutely magical. While it is a bit darker than the Disney cartoon (although anything is bound to be darker than the syrupy-sweet Disney cartoons), it is also beautiful and moving. The boy who plays the part of Peter Pan has the best facial expressions, Jason Isaacs does a splendid job in his dual role as both Mr. Darling and Captain Hook, and the touching scene with Vanessa Redgrave near the end of the film nearly made me cry. This film does such a fantastic job of catching the wonder and fantasy of Barrie's tale. It's one of those few rare gems among children's movies that the adults of the family will actually enjoy watching, too!

We saw the live-action release of Charlotte's Web yesterday, and it was captivating. It follows the storyline of EB White's beloved children's book, and focuses in on such priceless life lessons as finding miracles in the everyday happenings of life and finding beauty in unexpected places. The voices are perfectly cast, and the movie really draws you in and keeps even the adults interested until the very end.
